Psychosexual Disorders are defined as sexual disorders or difficulties that are psychological in origin, rather than physiological. They may occur in response to intense experiences of guilt, shame, stress and anxiety, or as a result of trauma and abuse. They vary greatly from person to person and may include sexual dysfunction, culturally 'unusual' sexual preferences and Gender Identity Disorder.
