Mindfulness is an approach which supports people to develop greater present-moment awareness of their current thoughts, emotions and physical feelings. It is recognised to promote wellbeing by supporting individuals to develop a greater connection between their mind and body, and to notice how our thoughts drive and influence our emotions and behaviours.
The Fitzrovia Psychology Clinic offers introductory courses, taster sessions and regular Mindfulness groups. Our groups are structured to explore basic concepts of Mindfulness and conduct a number of experiential exercises. We also tailor our sessions for particular difficulties and populations, such as students and/or people with shared experiences such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, an Eating Disorder, Personality Disorder or Chronic Pain.
